We are located in Pittsburgh’s Gateway Center. The building is located at the corner of Stanwix and the Boulevard of the Allies. The entrance faces Gateway Center.
Parking can be found at Stanwix St., in Gateway Center, or on the Mon Wharf. All-day parking will cost approximately $15. Since we are located downtown, most students and staff ride buses to school.
Students and most staff use public transportation to reach City High. Every student is provided with transportation according to the rules set by their school district of residence. Pittsburgh Public Schools, Penn Hills School District and Woodland Hills School District send bus passes for their students to City High and Ms. Dillon distributes these to the students from these districts. Many districts distribute bus passes directly to parents. Two school districts transport their students into downtown Pittsburgh on a yellow school bus.
Parents who would like additional information on transportation must contact their school district of residence.
Note: City High does not replace lost bus passes.
Small Group Tours are for parents and students thinking about attending City High and would like to visit classrooms while classes are in session. City High’s small group tours are typically available every Thursday while classes are in session.
