Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are preparing for the Winter Keystone Exams. 11th Grade students who did not pass the Literature Exam will have the opportunity to retake it from January 15th-17th, 2025.
Please note all students are required to demonstrate postsecondary preparedness in Algebra, Biology, and Literature as statewide graduation requirements, and earning proficient scores on the Keystone exams is the easiest way to satisfy this requirement. A document titled “Information for Parents or Guardians” and a letter from Pennsylvania’s Department of Education regarding electronic devices are included in this mailing.
There are a number of other key points to emphasize when considering the importance of the test and why students should give it their best effort:
We ask all students to take the test seriously and give their best effort. We appreciate any help you can provide with reinforcing this message at home prior to testing.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Cliff Luft at luft@cityhigh.org or Bret Powner at powner@cityhigh.org.
