Angello Madison—Understanding Neuroscience

Angello Madison accepted an internship through the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Health Sciences, where he was placed under mentors Dr. DeGroat and Stephanie Daugherty in a neurophysiology lab.

Angello’s interest in the field of neuroscience landed him a position in a lab environment where he learned about the urinary tract and functions of the bladder.  He learned how to use various tools, how to analyze lab research through MS Excel, calcium imaging and how sensations to the brain impacts how your bladder functions.  Angello’s internship experience confirmed his career interests and helped him to increase his understanding of neuroscience.
