Small Group Tours

Small Group tours are for parents and students thinking about attending City High and would like to visit classrooms while classes are in session. City High’s small group tours are typically available every Thursday while classes are in session. For more information please call 412-690-2489 ext. 111, or email Michelle Fossum at

COVID-19: If you were hoping to take a tour or visit us during an open house, please note that Covid-19 has kept us from opening our doors as we go in and out of phases (red, yellow, etc.). Open in-person houses are currently on hold as we wait for the phases to change.

9 & 10th Grade Students Transfer Applicants

All students that are looking to attend City High in the 9th and 10th Grade are welcome to attend the New Admissions Open Houses. Students who are a transferring applicant looking to start during the current 9th or 10th† grade year are encouraged to attend any of these open houses as well.
City High only accepts transfer students in the 9th or 10th grade.

Current 9th graders submitting applications after January 24th, of each year will need to apply for 10th grade for the next school year.
